Last May, Iowa’s governor “Covid Kim” Reynolds signed legislation outlawing mask mandates in K-12 schools.
This legislation was passed through the Senate with the following votes:
They kicked it over to the House which voted thus:
And those nerds happily sent it off to Governor Kim Reynolds who couldn’t wait to sign it.
Listen, there’s plenty more in H.F. 847 to be annoyed by, but the primary reason it’s stuck in a lot of parent’s craws at present is because it disallows Iowa schools from issuing mask mandates even though children under 12 are not yet…
